Life Groups

We are better together!

Life Groups are a place where people can meet together in a variety of social settings to create life long friendships through prayer and fellowship. A great example of how we truly are “Better Together”!
Life Groups start two different times within the year. We have a big kickoff in the Fall where classes will continue until the beginning of December. There is a short break for the Christmas season. The second session begins in mid to late January and continues until the end of May. This allows people to try different groups if they want.
If you have any further questions or would like more information, please email us at questions@churchalivewc.org.
Of course, any questions can also be asked at the Welcome Center on Sundays before and after service.
No matter what stage of life you are in, we here at Church Alive encourage you to join a Life Group!

Study of Ephesians

In this small group, we’ll dive into Ephesians together—looking at what it teaches, what challenges us, and how we can live it out day by day. Our goal is to grow spiritually, build connection, and encourage each other along the journey.

God, Where Are You?!

Do you feel lost in a difficult season, wondering, “GOD, WHERE ARE YOU?!”
Perhaps you heard God speak, but now He seems silent. Maybe you moved forward in faith, but now His presence is nowhere to be found. Welcome to the wilderness—the place between receiving a promise from God and seeing it come to pass.
But here’s the good news—this is no purposeless wasteland. God uses the wilderness to prepare and equip you for your destiny—that is, if you navigate it correctly. Contrary to what many may think, getting through this season isn’t just a matter of waiting on God. You have a part to play in navigating through it. A big one. And if you don’t want to waste time wandering in circles, it’s important to learn what that is.
In this eye-opening book, best-selling author John Bevere equips you with key biblical insights and profound stories that will help you navigate your dry or difficult seasons and step into all that God has for you.

The War Is Over

*This Life Group is full*
THE LONGEST CONFLICT in history lasted 4000 years and ended in a decisive victory nearly 2000 years ago. Still, many have not yet heard the news and they continue to fight the battle— the battle of sin and judgment.
On the cross Jesus said “It is finished,” victory was declared, and reconciliation began. It was the victory promised when Jesus was born and the angels declared, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). Is this saying Jesus came to create peace among men? If it is, then He has most certainly failed.
The peace he spoke of was not among men, but between God and man. Sin is no longer the issue; the price has been paid once and for all. God sent His only Son to bare our sin, becoming sin itself, and then judged Him without mercy for that sin. Was His sacrifice enough for you? Is God withholding His blessing because of your sin? If you die with an unconfessed sin, would you be lost? The answers in this book will release you from the condemnation of judgment and fear. It will free you to receive the promised blessings of God!

Cold - Case Christianity

Explore the case for Christianity through the lens of real investigative work in Cold-Case Christianity by J. Warner Wallace. Once a committed atheist and homicide detective, Wallace applies ten key rules of evidence—the same methods he used to solve criminal cases—to examine the historical claims of Jesus and the reliability of the Bible.
Participants will discover how evidence informs faith, why the Gospel accounts can be understood as eyewitness testimony, and how investigative reasoning can strengthen confidence in Christianity. This study is ideal for seekers and believers alike who want to thoughtfully examine the foundations of the Christian faith together.
