We are better together!

Life Groups are a place where people can meet together in a variety of social settings to create life long friendships through prayer and fellowship. A great example of how we truly are “Better Together”!
Life Groups start two different times within the year. We have a big kickoff in the Fall where classes will continue until the beginning of December. There is a short break for the Christmas season. The second session begins in mid to late January and continues until the end of May. This allows people to try different groups if they want.
If you have any further questions or would like more information, please email us at questions@churchalivewc.org.
Of course, any questions can also be asked at the Welcome Center on Sundays before and after service.
No matter what stage of life you are in, we here at Church Alive encourage you to join a Life Group!

2025 Summer Life Groups
Sunday Recap

In this small group study, we’ll reflect on and dive deeper into the key takeaways from Sunday’s sermon. Together, we’ll explore how the message can be applied in our daily lives, fostering growth and connection within the group. Through discussion and reflection, we’ll reinforce the sermon’s truths and encourage each other in living them out throughout the week.

The 4 Habits of Joy-Filled People

In this small group study of The 4 Habits of Joy-Filled People, participants will discover how to cultivate lasting joy through simple, science-backed habits. Marcus Warner and Chris Coursey guide us through practical tools rooted in neuroscience and attachment theory, showing how joy isn’t just a fleeting emotion but a vital, learnable skill. By applying these habits, we’ll learn to enhance our well-being, build deeper connections, and create more satisfying, joy-filled lives.

College & Career

Join our College and Career group for meetings that inspire growth, connection, and community! Each gathering offers a chance to build friendships, deepen your faith, and support each other through life’s transitions. Whether you’re in school, starting your career, or discovering your next steps, you’ll find a place to belong and grow with others!

God, Where Are You?!

Do you feel lost in a difficult season, wondering, “GOD, WHERE ARE YOU?!”
Perhaps you heard God speak, but now He seems silent. Maybe you moved forward in faith, but now His presence is nowhere to be found. Welcome to the wilderness—the place between receiving a promise from God and seeing it come to pass.
But here’s the good news—this is no purposeless wasteland. God uses the wilderness to prepare and equip you for your destiny—that is, if you navigate it correctly. Contrary to what many may think, getting through this season isn’t just a matter of waiting on God. You have a part to play in navigating through it. A big one. And if you don’t want to waste time wandering in circles, it’s important to learn what that is.
In this eye-opening book, best-selling author John Bevere equips you with key biblical insights and profound stories that will help you navigate your dry or difficult seasons and step into all that God has for you.

Respectable Sins

What ever happened to sin?
Have we become so preoccupied with the major sins of our society that we have lost sight of our need to deal with our own, more subtle sins? Jerry Bridges addresses a dozen clusters of specific “acceptable” sins that we tend to tolerate in ourselves―such as jealousy, anger, judgmentalism, selfishness, and pride.
Jerry writes not from a height of spiritual accomplishment, but from the trenches of his own battles with sin. In his admonitions, Jerry offers a message of hope in the profound mercy of the gospel and the transforming grace of God as the means to overcome our “respectable sins.”
